Sodium casein

Sodium casein white to yellowish granular, powdery or flaky solid. Smell-free, tasteless, or slightly peculiar. Soluble in wastewater, pH neutral, acid in aqueous solution to produce casein precipitation. Because of the hydrophilic and hydrophobic groups in its molecules, sodium casein has certain emulsifying properties.
